Hello,

I have a subform that when active, does not automatically
scroll the screen when the user enters into fields that
are off the monitor.

Is there a work around this so that the user does not have
to scroll up and down the form?

Any help, hints or tips are appreciated by this newbie.

Perhaps you could clarify... how does one enter something into a control
that isn't visible on the monitor? And, in any case, clarify about the
subform "scrolling" automatically. Thanks.

Do you mean when the LinkMasterFields on the main form changes, that the
LinkChildFields does not synchronize the data in the form embedded in the
subform control?

Hi Larry,

Thank you very much for your reply.

The data actually comes across fine.

The user must use the scroll bar (because the entire form
and all it's subforms) are larger than the screen itself.

Inside subfrom1 (represents a year) are 4 vertically tall
individual subforms; subform2, subform3, subform4 and
subfrom5 (each represents a quarter within that year - 1
to 1 relationship, if that matters in this case?)that lay
side by side horizontally.

Subforms2-5 take up more real-estate vertically than the
monitor can display, so when a user is entering
information and they get to the 'end' of the visible
screen they must use the scroll bar to move down rather
than having GUI move up automatically.

Is there a way to make the screen move up automatically
when they enter into fields off the screen?

Thank you so much!

Christi
