sub web nav bar choice opens new window

Hello all......

A company I just purchased set up a community web site with a main page and
a number of sub webs. Choices from the main page navigation bar lead to the
various sub web pages.

On the sub web pages are similar navigation bars with mostly the same menu
choices as the main page menu with the addition of the main page name.
Selecting a choice goes to the right place, however, a new window opens.
This is kind of annoying. For instance I think when the user selects the
main page choice they should just go back to the main page... not have the
main page opened up in a new window.

I've looked around and can't seem to find how to change this behavior. Can
someone point me in the right direction please. Thanks.....

Tom -

Right-click and look at the Page Properties for each page that is opening a new
window. You will no doubt see that the Default Target Frame is set to New
Window. Just blank out this setting and all will be well.
