Sub total in exce 2000

Hi,

I am trying to sub total by Route, and get the break when the route number
changes, however the count is zero.

The cells I am trying to sub total are the result of an if statement, so
although I see the numbers, when I click on the cell, i see the formula. Is
there some way to have the sub total function just use the actual numbers?

I hope I have explained this properly. See below:

It sounds like that the cells being retrieved are really text.

I'd go back to the source (wch temp database!c4) and then reformat the cell as
general, then reenter the value (a two step process).

Then check the subtotal formula.

If that's corrected, it's time to fix all the values in those sending cells.
