I’m trying to create a volunteer directory using a main report and two sub
reports.
The report needs to contain the volunteer’s name and address information,
the committees they are interested in (Committee sub-report), and the shifts
they are available (Shift Availability sub-report). In the Detail section of
the report I have put fields for the name and address information long the
left margin (the report is set up with 1 inch margins all around). Then along
the right margin I entered the Shift availability sub-report, which for some
people consists of four separate lines of data. At this point, I tested the
report and it looked fine. Then I added the Committee sub-report in the
middle and the report changed. If the volunteer committee data consists of
more than one line, the address information on the left margin is forced down
leaving a blank space. How do I keep that from happening? I am using Access
2000 and Windows 2000 operating system.
