Hi

How do I change the background color on a sub-menu when I roll-over
on a list of items?

Also, how can I change the background color on a web page displayed.

Somehow, I changed these items and can't get them back to their default.

Thanks

Bill

Try changing the colors in Display Properties: Right click on your Desktop,
select Properties, click the Appearance tab, then click the Advanced button.

IE: Tools | Internet Options | Color...

I figured out how to change the desktop background color, but not the drop-
down menu on a rollover. Is there any way to reset everthing back to the
default settings?

I created a new account and exported the default colors. To reset the
colors, copy the following lines (from REGEDIT4 to "MenuBar"="236 233 216")
into Notepad and save the file with a REG extension. Then click (or double
click) the file to merge it to your registry. Log off and log on (or
kill/restart explorer.exe, or reboot).

If you're talking about the toolbar background color, it's the same color as
ButtonFace in Windows Classic style mode. But in Windows XP style mode, it
depends on the style used.

how do u change the style?
