Sub Contacts in an Exchange Account

My boss has outlook 2003 on the frontend and it ties back to an exchange
account. The contacts in his account operate fine. However, when he
adds in sub contact catagories neither his address book or when he hits
"TO:" in a message composition any of the contacts appear. When i click
on the actual subcatagory "Personal" the contacts appear. I did the
same thing on my machine and ran into no problems at all.
I have no idea why the subcatagorie contacts are not linking to the
address book and message composition. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Did you enable the subfolder as an e-mail address book in its properties?
