Got redirected to this forum so Ill repost here then...

Is there any interest for styled controls in the pocket pc world?

I developed an application for a customer last week and I had to create some
office2003 styled components with that to make the app look a bit flashier.

if I clean up those controls and release them for free , would anyone be
interested in using them then?

They are interesting! I've you tryed on a real device if they are too heavy
or perform well?

They performm well.
The list control is somewhat slowish (especially on the emulator)
but it should be optimized a little bit.
Im also working on a scrollable detail view control.

Isnt it odd that there is so few custom cf controls?
Ive pretty much only found resco , componentone and pocketpccontrols.

I need to clean up the api and namespaces a bit before publishing.
thats why i posted to see if i should bother to fix them :)

anyway, il post a new message once ive published them (tonight or tomorrow)

They look good. I don't have any need for them right now, but in
general, making more components available is a good thing. I'm sure
someone would have an interest.
