Style and formatting help, please!

Hello

I hope someone can help me with this, please.

I have created a New Style (in Style and Formatting) in a Word 2003
document. This new style centres a block of text (a long quotation),
justifies it, and sets it as 9pt Verdana and on screen it looks fine. In
Print Preview it looks OK, too.

However, when I come to print the document this new style prints as one long
string of vertical text!

I would be grateful for any advice.

Similar issues have been reported previously. If I remember correctly, the
reason is that Word somehow loses the connection to the printer. Restarting
Windows and deleting any left-over temporary files, as explained at
http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm, might help.
