Hey,
Somehow I've managed to lost Front Page from my computer and can't find my
Office disk. I've got the manual, but no disk.

Does anyone have suggestions as to where it may be hiding? I have a file
that says MS Office Front Page but the file is empty.

thanks.

Nothing under Start | All Programs?
Sounds like it's been uninstalled.

Before you waste a lot of time, see if it's still on your HD. Open
Add/Remove programs, in Control Panel. Look for Microsoft Office Front Page.
If it's shown as still on your HD, do a search for frontpg.exe.

Windows creates a "frontpage" folder which is part of the operating system -
does not mean FP was (is) installed. FP doesn't come with MS Office except
some high-end (expensive) premium editions.

Not sure why it would have uninstalled without your knowledge. It is
definitely something you would notice was happening.

Maybe you're looking in the wrong place? On my system Frontpage is
installed in c:\program files\microsoft office\office11 - the application
executable file is 'frontpg.exe'

I do have a "micrsoft office" folder that is on the start menu (it has all
the shortcuts to my Office applications), but this is not the same as the
folder the actual program is installed to (which should be "Program files"
if you choose the default location option when it was first installed).

I suggest you try the above file path and see if it's there or do a search
(Start key-E then Ctrl-F) and do a search on "frontpg.exe"
