Stupid question

Mary

I have a stupid question. Actually several but I'll just ask one right now.
When I signed in on the windows mail all it asked me was what my email
address and password was from my isp, but it never said what my address was
for the windows mail. So how do I get that information? P.S. I told you it
was a stupid question.

Your e-mail address is your e-mail address.

If you know this:
"...what my email
address ...was from my isp..."

Then you know this:
"...what my address was
for the windows mail.

That's OK, don't feel bad because you don't know this. To set up email,
you need:

Your user name (usually the email address for the main account) - get
from your ISP
Your password - you set this when you originally set up the account with
your ISP
The ISP's incoming and outgoing mail servers (ex. pop.isp.com and
smtp.isp.com)

If you didn't write this information down when you originally set up the
Internet service (and it could have been years ago), then call your ISP.
They will be able to tell you your user name and to assign you a new
password.

Your ISP will also have instructions on their website on how to set up
common mail programs like Outlook Express, Eudora, Outlook, etc. If they
don't have instructions for Windows Mail posted yet, use the ones for
Outlook Express.

Hi again Mary, your email address is (e-mail address removed) yes/no?

User Name: Established when you signed up for Fuse, also known as Account
Name
Email Address: (e-mail address removed)

Email Settings
SMTP Server: smtp.fuse.net
POP3 Server: pop.fuse.net
News Server: nntp.fuse.net

Go to Tools menu>accounts>add>mail, follow the wizard and enter the above
info.
