Stupid Green Line in my video's

I have this green line that runs along the right side of my video's that I
capture from a DV Camera. It's really annoying, considering that I'll
probably put some of these video's on a DVD or VHS and I don't want it to
have a green line on them. The line is not on my camera when I preview the
video, it only appears after I upload the video onto my computer, in AVI
format(I don't think the format has anything to do with it). Any kind of
help or explanation would be great, thanx.

I haven't the time to search now, but this was discussed not long ago and a
number of helpful hints were given try searching for it either here or in
xp.video.
