I have an Excel 97 spreadsheet that has a column of sizes. If I enter a
size range like 38 - 32, I have no problem. But when I enter 4 - 8, Excel
insists on interpreting that as 8-Apr. If I look at the format setting for
the cell, I find it has changed to Date format. If I change the format back
to General, I get the serial code for April 8th. Anyone know how to
override this? Thanks in advance.
