Stumped A FEW SO FAR....Identity Delays

Using Outlook Express / WIN XP Home

Have four identities... When I'm switching to two of the
four, there is about a 45-60 second delay, but swithcing
to the third or forth goes instantly. During the delay,
the desktop shows while waiting and before switching -
it's a bit annoying! Any ideas...?

How large are the message stores on one and two? If it's been a while, may
want to try compacting the store for each account (Tools> Options>
Maintenance).
