It would be useful to have templates, addins, etc. for those of us who are in
the word business. Also more detailed information, perhaps even books, on
using macros for editing and copyediting.

One of the things that would really help a great deal would be if they fixed
the readlining (or whatever they call it in the current version -- revision
marking, track changes or something else -- they are always trying to hide it
under a new name.

XyWrite got it right back in 1987. Microsoft still haven't got it right.

When one deletes struckout text, whether by backspacing or otherwise, the
stike-out should be deleted, leaving the text undeleted.

That would be the best improvement Microsoft could make for copy editors.
