I have a HP printer in my system.
I was printing a sheet when, felling something is wrong, decided to cancel.
The printing work was stuck in the printer, I see the icon in the task bar.
I tried to cancel printing 100 times but it continues stuck.
The printer does not work anylonger.
I uninstalled and installed the driver many times. Nothing happens
Anyway to solve the problem.
Any help pse ?

You can try the following:
Run Windows Explorer, (Start -> Run -> explorer.exe).
Navigate to this location:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Delete the contents of this folder.

Turn the computer off to clear whatever may be in the printer's buffer, and
then delete the print job. Then turn the printer back on.

If that doesn't work, don't just uninstall the driver, uninstall the printer
as well.

The Printer folder was found empty.

By the way the power lamp is continuosly blinking.

Which leads to the obvious question, what happens when you
disconnect and then reconnect the power cord?

The only other thing I can think of to try and resolve your
problem would be stopping and starting the spooler service. Go
to Start -> Run and enter services.msc in the Open box. Click
OK. Find Print Spooler in the list of services and right click
on it. Select Stop from the menu. Once it is stopped, right
click and this time select Start.

If none of this fixes your problem it may be time to take the
advice that D. Currie gave and delete the printer from the
"Printers and Faxes" folder. Reinstall the printer using the
latest driver available from HP's web site.

I have this problem from time to time with my networked HP 970 Cxi. Clear
the printer memory by unplugging it for 1 minute. when you reconnect the
power the printer will recycle.
This has always worked for me.

I'd reinstall the printer using latest software available
from the vendor.

My Epson CX4600 printer's power lamp blinks all the
time, too, but it doesn't interfere with printing so I ignore it.
