stuck in beta sp2,after restoring back from sp2 final

i installed the beta version of sp2 several weeks ago.......last week
microsoft automatically downloaded and installed sp2.since then i have been
unable to use my canon printer,,,and when i tried,my computer froze.also when
i rebooted it took ages-then sometimes my desktop wouldnt come on,,,only my
background.i got fed up with it all today,and restored back to pre sp2,my
printer now works ok....but i cant restore to pre-beta sp2.can this be
removed with add remove programs?does anyone have a solution to why i couldnt
use my printer with the new sp2.all this update has done is stuff my
computer up

Did you look in Add/Remove Programs/
Unless you slipstreamed the install, there should be an entry.

Try a Repair Installation:

You could try SP-2 this way:

If that does not work, you may need to perform a Clean Installation.
Of course that is not unexpected since the Beta installed knowing the
risks in advance.
