I was upgrading windows 2000 pro to windows xp pro...everything worked fine...it installed and I was trying to screw around with the video settings to make the resolution better but it wouldn't let me...so I tried installing a new driver for my video card...after installing that it said that I had to restart my computer...I did and when it got the the loading screen before it asks you to choose which user you are and to enter your password, my monitor goes to sleep and I can't see anything that is going on...I try to turn my monitor off and back on but I still see no windows...So I tried doing a windows XP repair...and now its forever stuck in an ongoing loop at the setup screen...it will install some devices and then the monitor turns off again...I let it sit there for hours to see what it would do...and nothing...so I restart my computer and it goes straight into the windows xp setup again...I tried going into safe mode one time to delete the video card driver...but it wouldnt let me go into safe mode because I was not finished running setup yet!!! It wont ever finish!!! Please someone help me out here...I dont want to have to format my hard drive AGAIN!!!
