I'd like to try making a movie of my grandchildren without capturing
any sound, and then have them narrate what's going on in the editing
process. My camera (Sony HC21 HandyCam) doesn't seem to have a switch
to turn off so sound is not recorded.
I did try narrating over some clips, but the narration is muffled by
the extant sound on the clips.
Can sound be stripped from clips? If so, how?
I could try covering the microphone pick-up area on the camera, but I
thought I'd see if there's a better way.
