How do you create a strikethrough font in PowerPoint?

Powerpoint does not do strikethrough. Quite amazing really. It's just trying to be different

Work-A-Round......
Enter your text in Microsoft WORD (including strikethroughs, colored fonts,
etc.) and then copy the text from Word to PowerPoint...
1. Enter the text in MS Word, select it and do a File>Copy
2. Go to PowerPoint and do Edit>*Paste Special* (do NOT use Paste) and
select *Microsoft Word Document Object*
note: This works in PowerPoint2003; not sure if it will work in earlier
versions.

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for,
If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
provide additional font formatting capabilities (strike-through, double
underline, etc.), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
