Hi All,
I receive faxes using Microsoft Fax. These faxes are stored as TIF files.
When I view a received fax TIF file in Vista "Windows Photo Gallery", the
fax appears to be correct. However, when I click print, the print preview is
stretched out of proportion. The actual physical printout is also stretched.
I can open the file in "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" and the image is
already stretched when viewed.
If I open the same file on a XP system, there are no problems. 3rd party TIF
viewers work correctly on Vista.
This has been a known problem with Vista for a while now - When will there
be a solution?
Does anyone have a workaround? Installing 3rd party viewers on all our PCs
is currently not an option.
