stretch accross two monitors

I would like to stretch accross two monitors using windows
2000. I have seen this done in Windows 98se using two
video cards then attaching two monitors then you can tell
it to stretch accross both screens giving you access to a
larger area to work on. Any ideas? I am going to post this
under general as well. Thanks Shirley
 
What is your specific question?

What kind of video card/s do you have ?

I am currently doing this right now so I just need some more info.

When I install the pci card it takes over and I get
nothing on the agp card.

The s3 virge was not dual compatible, I plugged in a
different video card and it came right up and told me what
to do. Thanks for your help. Shirley
