Strech problem inserting pictures in background

I am a full time PowerPoint template developer. I have experienced a problem
with 2007. I have problems inserting pictures using the Format Background
menu. PowerPoint continues too streech a proper sized background photo.

Trying out a normal non edited default template does not streech the picture.

Have anyone heard of this problem and a cure...?

Hi Geetesh,
Yes i have made a brief try. But was hoping i could get around the problem
in another way as there has been put a lot of hours in the layouts on the
template level.
 
Michael, I don't know because I haven't seen this issue -- would you want me
to see a problem template?

Michael, I see what you explained, and thanks for uploading the sample.

In the Format Background dialog box in PowerPoint 2007, you have a section
called Stretch Options that also lets you input negative value (minus)
increments -- do they allow you to workaround the issue?

Stopping by in Scandinavia, I found one word often in your site called
Skabelon -- it turns out that it means "template" in Danish!
