I want to stream live video and audio so I can see it from a remote
computer,
both PC's have dsl access.

I have been looking for ways for either windows media, real media or NVS
(winamp video) or any other way... but the programs I found are for web cams
and dont have audio... or are too complex to setup.

So does anyone know of a good easy application to do this?

It sould have some of server program to do this....

This should do it for you. Unless of course, you're trying to rebroadcast TV
over a website or something. But you can connect remotely from one of your
computers to another over the Internet.

I believe I've done this a while back with Windows Media Encoder--encoding
live TV, and streaming it to anyone connecting to the machine's IP
address...

One of the best sites for such things and the particulars you need to know..

Yes, I found about that site too, while looking for a solution to my
problem.

Its a very good site. What actually was causing me problems was that
my tv tuner drivers was causing all the programs including encoder to crash.

I am still trying to sort that out....

Thanks !

post for google groups:

My solution was to use older VFW drivers instread of the WMD drivers
for the tv card... seems like encoder is allergic to WMD.
