Computer Club member's IBM ThinkPad.

Member states that beginning yesterday these words appear at the lower right
of the desktop, just above the Notification Area. If I turn off the
Auto-hide the taskbar, they drop down to remain at the bottom of the desktop
area.

The words are:
Windows XP Professional
Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 (Service Pack 2)

He says that it is annoying. I have never seen this.

Any thoughts?
