File names are very deep-system things... Most programs can NOT handle
a name fo a file/folder if such name contains letters which do NOT
belong to

System Code Page of your Operating System.

Your system code page is "1252, Western European" and does NOT contain
any Cyrillic letters - it's why some programs show '????' which mean -
if you look at Windows Help -
"symbol is not found in the current encoding" - and it's true, one
could not find any Cyrillic in "Western" encoding...

Only 150% :-) Unicode programs can handle correctly Unicode files names
in 2000/XP file system.

So what 99% people do - they AVOID using such names!
Even if my Word 2000 allows me to save my document using Russian
letters on my US English Windows 2000, I would never ever do that -
because many _other_ programs will not be able to process the file with
such name...
