Hi,
I have a problem with my wireless network when gaming (put this in here because I couldn't find a better place). This is mainly a problem when playing counter strike online. When moving, every second I am pulled back almost to the position I was before, (as if the internet connection isnt recognising the movement for a large part of that time?). I'm using a Belkin Pre-N router with the matching Belkin network cards. I've played around with all the router settings and nothing helps. The problem still occurs with the router and computer firewalls disabled. My only luck is that I've discovered the following messages repeated in the routers security log when I connect to a counter strike server:
DoS log:
2007-02-04 17:55:21 [UDP Flood] (UDP) LAN to WAN 192.168.2.4:27005->193.238.84.90:27025 [Drop]
2007-02-04 17:55:21 [HOST Attack: UDP Flood] (UDP) WAN to LAN 193.238.84.90:27025->86.6.2.205:27005 [Drop]
2007-02-04 17:55:21 [HOST Attack: UDP Flood] (UDP) LAN to WAN 192.168.2.4:27005->193.238.84.90:27025 [Drop]
This is repeated for every second I'm connected to the server. I've searched on the internet, and havent found anything to help me understand the problem and what needs to be done to fix it. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Hal Collings
