I have a problem that is really puzzling me. The network has 4 remote sites.
At all of the sites every user that needs to log on to the terminal server
does so just fine. I have one new use that will be needing to log on from
the remote sites and when he does, nothing seems to work right. I have
compared his profile in Active Directory Users & Computers to everyone elses
and there is NO DIFFERENCE. But when this user logs on, things like My
Computer, Control Panel, Printers, ... display the following warning:
Your current security settings prevent running ActiveX controls on this
page. .....
All of these items (My Computer, Control Panel, Printers, ...) show up as
Restricted Zones.
When this user logs on at the main office, everything is fine. It is just
when trying to log on to the terminal server. I get the following events
showing up:
Event ID 1012 WinLogon gjha\joes
Event ID 1000 UserEnv NT Suthority\system
Event ID 111 Folder REdirection gjha\joes
Can someone please tell me what might be going on here??
Thanks many times over.
