I use Word XP Pro as my mail editor. Lately I noticed
that when I reply a message and I hit the Enter Key I get
a strange symbol like a small vertical box. I have to
keep erasing it. Please help me to solve this problem
that I did not have before.

PD: what is the purpose to place my email address if the
reply is not sent to it?

Does this happen for fonts?
Also, are you using Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor?

Roady, thanks for the reply. In my message I wrote that I
use Word XP Pro as editor. Be more precise with the
questionof fonts. When I type my replies I USE WORD XP
PRO. No problems with fonts/.

My bad indeed; only typed half of the message I wanted :-S

I wanted to know if it happened for all fonts or just one specific font.

My reply was VERY CLEAR. I don't have any fonts problem.
I only get that symbol ( vertical box) when click enter
Please read my message I don't remember I wrote having
problems with fonts

Edgard,

A corrupted font can also display these symbols therefore I asked about Font
problems.
Can you locate the file normal.dot and rename it to normal.old? Make sure
you have Outlook and Word closed while doing this. The start Word again and
then Outlook and see if the problem is gone now. If it isn't you can rename
normal.old back to normal.dot it you prefer.

Regards,

If a font is corrupted you shouldn't have the problem when you select
another font and you would have the same problem in other text editors.
