OK here is a mystery but I do not know what is causing it. Server 2000 keeps rebooting at 9:30AM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is no scheduled reboot and no Event log entry which explains the reason why the system is rebooting involuntarily. Is there anyone out there that has a clue as to why this is happening. Please contact me directly as well as here. (e-mail address removed)

If no BSOD's occur (Event ID: 1001 Source: Save Dump), then it may be a
power problem. I would look at a possible faulty (or undersized) pc power
supply, UPS, bad battery, or the circuit feeding the outlet that the pc is
plugged into.

Dave I thought of the power supply but would it be so perfectly consistent as to reboot exactly at the same time only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday? I mean it is as if it is scheduled to reboot at that exact time. But I have not scheduled it nor have do I know how to do so.

Hi, Anthony.

Is this computer on a clean power line? Or could some air conditioner or
laser or other humongous piece of machinery on the same power source be
suddenly sucking all the juice when it starts up 3 times a week?

Is another machine controlling the UPS? I know APC's powerchute would be
able to do something like this.
