Hi,
My friends and me are experiencing the quite common problem with remote
assistance: "Remote host name could not be resolved". We have tried to
search solutions but none of them have worked thus far. The strangest thing
is that the remote assistance works partially. We have a group of four
people and the assistance works as follows:
Person 1 can help Person 2
Person 2 cannot help Person 1
Person 1 can help Person 3
Person 3 cannot help Person 1
Person 2 cannot help Person 3
Person 3 cannot help Person 2
However, Person 4 can help everyone else, and everyone else can help him.
I cannot figure out what's going on. Everyone has public IP address, and
_all connections worked perfectly in the past_. The problems started about
two months ago. I (Person 2 above) asked my internet connection provider if
they changed something which could cause this kind of problems and they have
not done anything.
Does anyone have a clue what might be going on?
Regards,
Jani
