Hi

I have had a win 2000 server runnig for serval month now. Im using Remote
Access and Routing to enalbe Internet sharing with NAT. I worked perfectly
until i convertet my server to a Domain Controller.

After that, the internet on alle the clients is EXTREEMLY slow. Eg. bbc.com
takes around 20-30 seconds to show on the clients. If i browse the page
directly from the server it loads within a few seconds.

Any idea why the DC converting is sucking all life out of win2000's Routing
function?

The CPU load never exceed 10% so thats not the problem.

Really hope someone has a suggestion.

I´ve found a lead. I see that my NAT is rejecting aporx 30% off all packets.
Especially when images (larger files) are involved. I see other have had the
same problem, but no solution is ever mentioned.

This describes my problem excatly

and this too.

Can anyone think of a solution or cause to this problem. My network is in
its current state almost useless.

Regards
Anders
