a) My computer started running very slow,eg refresh 30 mins! I did all the
usual things without success so I turned off and restarted.
I found then I could not log into my ISP (Homecall broadband) it came up
with "Application error".
b) My taskbar had gone large and white.
c) The task manager showed no users.
d) My drivers list was EMPTY.
e) My network connections box was empty.
f) My system restore points had gone and I could not go back from the
current month.
g) I tried to set up a new connection but the option boxes were ghosted out
except for create a permanent broadband connection.
h) Avg found nothing even in safe mode. I have turned off and restarted
many times. Thankfully I have a spare laptop.
Can anyone help?
