We have a W2K print server that has numerous printers installed (10+).
Most of the printers are attached to external jet direct cards. There
are sporadic issues with the printers (not printing out a full page,
garbled text, etc) and one issue that is consistent. There is one
Deskjet (HP 895Cse on a JD 170x) that will not print out a complete
page (even a test page). It will print part of the way and then stop
and error (Error 61). If I move this to another print server it is
fine.
The current print server also manages our dialin accounts, dhcp and
dns. I am wondering if this activity can be affecting the printing.
Any ideas?
