Hi all,
recently my pointer has been doing a strange thing. Moving it inside a
window or on the desktop, it will frequently freeze on the screen and a
tiny, phantom scroll bar will appear beneath it.
It's only mildly irritating in itself but I'm wondering if its a
symptom of a larger problem.
Here's a link to a picture of it:

The scroll bar won't function in any way it just locks the pointer for
the duration.

All the best

That's probably a mouse option, or an Accessibility option. I would
look through both items in the Control Panel. Also look at the mouse
manufacturer's page for help.

Thanks Joe, you were certainly on the right track there. The problem
went away when I uninstalled my Medion graphics tablet driver. I tried
just unplugging the USB cable but that didn't help. Now what I need to
work out is how to have the driver installed, without the unwanted
effect. I tried the Trust and Aiptek drivers which are each similar
enough to produce the same problem.

All the best,
Mike
