Gidday folks... had a strange one today. The machine wouldn't boot...
would get to the win XP Home splash screen, then an error message, saying
Isass.exe error then something about a password not matching. Cleared the
CMOS, rebooted. No change. Tried starting in safe mode, no change. Over the
top reinstall, but as soon as it went to restart, the same error came back.
then it just starts looping again. The only thing left to do was a format
and clean install which worked fine, but its been playing on my mind ever
since. i talked to a few other techs, none of whom had seen it before. I'm
thinking virus... Whadda you all think?
