Hello,
We recently installed a new server with Win2k. We had a WinNT server before
and we just left it alone and installed the new one from scratch, adding
user accounts and share and everything in a new domain. So, now we have 2
domains. The networking response can be good somtimes but bad most of the
time. The times that is bad, it does not allow me to log on new users in a
XP client, and can't see Shares and things like that. The last problem I got
was that I was in another PC with Win98 client from an XP client downloading
some files and when I went to the previous folder it asked to log in to that
computer, when I was working ok before.

Any ideas why this could be happening,

Thank you very much

Hi there.
Sometimes strange connectivity issues can be caused by viruses, so make sure that you have the latest signature files installed on your PCs and scan for
viruses. Do you go through a firewall for internet access?
