Strange message

Hi
i have domain at work , my domain controller have win2000
server , today when i come to work , i find strange
message , its sys>>>>>>>> FILES THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR
WINDOWS TO RUN PROPERLY HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY UNRECOGNIZED
VERSIONS. TO MAINTAIN SYSTEM STABILITY WINDOWS MUST
RESTORE THE ORIGENAL VERSIONS OF THESE FILES
INSERT YOUR WINDOWS 2000 SERVER CD NOW

RETRY MORE INFO CANCEL <<<<<<<
befor this message i see the usal message to empty the
event viewer .

so how can i solve that " did i have serious problem with
my server , i need a help "

ok what do you mean by "some malicious code
running somewhere." what malicious mean is it harmfull ,
how can i avoid that to happend again , how can i solve
this problem ??? , thanks for support , hope to reply me
 
Ok, when are you recieving this message ? Just insert Windows Server 2000 CD
into CD-ROM and click retry. If this happens again then post back and
describe what were you doing on the server when this message apeared.

hi
ok i'll put the cd but i just want to tell u that i do
nothing when this message appeard , i just leave the
server on Thrusday and i come at saturday to find it like
so , just it make the backup and i was opening web page (
my yahoo mail ) and when i come this mornning i find the
message of the event viewer is full and this message
appeared .
 
The other choice -- if you are willing to accept the changes -- is
to use SFC.exe to clear the file protection cache checksums and
reset them (to whatever is there.)

In theory you could have a virus, or some junk install did damage
(replaced) these files, but it is also possible that their is a bug or
discrepany in the protection cache that is due to Service Packs
and Hotfixes you wish to keep -- I have seen this ONCE, used
SFC and continued on.
