On a new Presario Desktop, using XP Home, every time I send something to my Brother HL-1440 laser printer a box pops up saying, "There is not enough space on your pc. Make room on the HD by deleting some files." There is only one button to press, "OK". The box does not have any other words or icons on it, such as Microsoft, etc. What ever I send to the printer prints fine. I have deleted cookies, temp files, history, trash bin, etc, but still the message appears. I have a 40 GB HD with about 30 GBs free.
The response to my first message was to load an updated printer driver. I got the latest from Microsoft and installed it. No change.
The response to my second message was encouraging and directed increasing my virtual memory, which I did to 1024 MB. No change.
Any additional thoughts?
