When I install a variety of applications in Windows XP Pro I have a
strange problem. All of the applications that have trouble are ones
that use the Winzip self extractor. The install files appear to work
until the extraction is finished, at which time the installiation
disapers. The only way I've found to install this software is to drag
it into WinZIp and to extract it out. Even then the .exe that is
extracted doesn't start, I have to use the .msi file. Does anyone have
a clue what is going on?

Motherboard: Gigabyte 8KN-XP
Processor: Intel 3.0 Ghz. (Overclock - 3.54)
1 GB DDR 3200
160 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
Radeon 9600 Pro
DVD-ROM and DVD +/- RW
Windows XP Prof. SP1 (All Updates)
