Hi,
A user in our office is experiencing a strange problem with Internet
Explorer. About once a month they open IE and it won't open any pages, just
gets the page can not be displayed error.
We connect via a proxy server and up on checking 'Tools' > 'Internet
Options' > 'Connections' > 'Lan Settings' we find the proxy settings are
blank. We can then enter them and it'll work fine, for a few weeks, then
it'll drop off again. We have upgraded from IE5 to 5.5 and last time to IE6,
however the same problem persists.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Or know what's happening?
