Strange Font Problem

I am using PPT 2000 on Windows 2000.

I used to have no problem with this until today.

I embed Excel charts into PPT often. Today, I tried to do
the same and when the Excel chart was input into PPT, the
fonts appear to to be Times New Roman. They are not this
way in the original Excel file or in the embedded file.
When I double-click the chart to check the fonts, they are
all Arial, but when I exit the embedded object, they
appear as Times. They are this way on screen, in a show
and in a printed version.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nuts.

In PPT's Tools/Options, if you deselect New Charts Take on PPT Font,
does that help at all?

Not 8. 12, 14 and 16

Hm. What size are the fonts in Excel? 8 pt, maybe?
