I am experiencing a strange delay in (most) actions I do on my XP Pro system
(latest updates installed). For instance, henever I try to open a folder in
Windows Epxlorer, or click a link in MS Explorer, there is a delay of about
1.5 seconds, after which everything proceeds as normal.

Anybody got any idea what this could be?

thanks

Martin

Alas, that doesnt do the trick.

I should perhaps add that I didnt have this problem in the past, only since
installing a replacement HD, and installing XP Pro etc. fresh on the HD.
Got 256MB ram, PIII processor - all shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks

Martin.

anybody?
