For some reason when playing Midi too long or sometimes
clicking on a weblink in IE, it blue screens with an error.

In counter strike I get strange "file has been modified"
error messages and NO file has been modified.

The Event viewer puts one of these in the Event log
whenever a blue screen happens.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Disk
Event Category: None
Event ID: 34
Date: 9/16/2003
Time: 10:59:49 AM
User: N/A
Computer: USER03746
Description:
The driver disabled the write cache on device
\Device\Harddisk0\DR0.

And there is no help in the help and support center.
Whats wrong and how to fix it....I've seen no one else
with this problem.

.
Do a system restore before the problem started and see
if that works. If not, do a thorough virus check and an
upgrade.

1]I've tried system Restore...had no effect.
2]Ran an anti-virus....no viruses found.
3]Updated Drivers.....the problem still is there.

I'd try and update the Hard Disk Controler driver by there
is no other driver than the on the came with the
motherboard and the standard one...both exibit the problem.

WindowXP-Pro....with all patches but SP1 but don't wanna
risk SP1 after hearing all the horor stories with it and
the current problem I am having.
