Hi,
I have a windows 2000 server (was SP2, now SP4). it has ISA 2000 (SP2)
installed.
It has redirected folders set up, shared internet and a shared printer.
Right now, the clients can log on and use the internet, but the printer and
documents are not available. On the server, the shares for the redirected
folders vanish !! There are three shares, and by the time I have added the
third share, the first one has gone!! No "little hand" icon, nothing to see
from the clients, just as if it's been turned off again. I'm thinking this
is a symptom rather than an actual fault, since the event log shows things
like "no domain controller, no DNS server etc (it's all of those things!).
And it crashed completely over the new year break, no display output, not
response to anything other than the reset button. After the restart, the
event log has no events after the about 4pm on the 1st.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might look for the cause?
