Strange behaviour - please help

I have a large workbook with 126 worksheets. 17 of those show the
splitter bar indicator (the little bar above and to the right of the
scroll bars) - the rest don't. I've no idea why this happened - can
anyone help me set them up so the splitter bar indicator is not shown.

if I understood you correctly goto 'Windows - split'

If i have understood, just double click it. Or, Window>Remove Split

If you have Window>Freeze Panes set to "on", the splitter indicator goes away.

Check the sheets for "Freeze Panes".
