I have a rule, that lists two Email addresses as "from", and then says, MOVE
(not COPY) the message to a folder. But, the problem is, it is COPYING, not
MOVING. So, there is a copy in the original destination folder and a copy
in the folder that the rule points to. Yes, i have double checked, and the
rule definitely says move not copy. I deleted and reimplimented the rule,
and it has the same behavior. I turned the rule off to make sure the server
was not sending me two copies, and only one was arriving if the rule was
turned off. Also, if i choose "run rule now", running it correctly
identifies the copy that was not moved by the rule originally when the
message arrived, and does move it to the stated destination folder.
So, this is weird! Has anybody seen anything like it? DO you have any
suggestions?? Of course, this is more of an "annoyance" than a major
problem. But, it is indeed annoying. Outlook 2007.
Thanks, tom
