Just post it so all I have to do is copy and paste it.

The guy obviously didnt know what he was doing when he
wrote this otherwise he would have put it all together at
the end.

I find the way he did it confusing and stupid.

Agreed, it's not a "functioning" demo, but it demonstrates everything
required for an vb.net coder to be able to put code together to do this.
This is all he seeks and achieves reasonably well.

All you need is an IQ greater than 1 digit to make it function... He did it
as a learning exercise, not a copy & paste & never understand what it's
doing exercise...

Look I apologize.......

I need to make this work so please post something I can
copy and paste.

What are you guys his bodyguards or what?

Not his bodyguard no, but you did jump down his throat for no reason, all
the guy was trying to do was give back to the group and you fired a scud
missile straight at him!!

I can't post working code 'cause on the PC I'm using at the mo, .NET is not
installed. I could take a look later for you, but to be honest, it's almost
Christmas so there's not a lot of chance. If you read the comments and code
carefully, it shouldn't take much effort to make it work.... And to be
honest, it's probably the best way to learn too... Just copying & pasting
code without understanding it is pointless, and potentially dangerous too!
I could stick anything in there!!

Besides, I'm on a learning curve too.. I'm a good VB6 programmer, but have
only been studying .NET for a few weeks so I've got a ways to go before I
reach the kind of level people like Herfried are at...

I will be waiting.

ImAMoronMan,

You already did, and couldnt understand that, what makes you think that you will be able to
understand another one? I have hardly touched .NET at all, and this stuff is simple to me. The
original example you cited is comprehensive and explains exactly what each step is doing. You
cant follow it?

I will be waiting.

Do you really think that coming to this group and demanding that someone
right some code for you is going to work?

Try writing it yourself and then ask questions about what you don't
understand. A little attitude adjustment would work wonders as well.
