How do you get Outlook in Office XP Professional to store
password? OS: Windows XP Professional.

Pretty simple. When configuring or modifying an e-mail account, check
the box next to the password field to remember it. Or, when you get
prompted by a popup window to enter the username and password, check
that box next to the password field to remember it.

However, I suspect you really did NOT ask your real question and am
trying to hide what is the real problem. I suspect your REAL question
is, "Outlook does not remember my password." In that case, do a search
in the Outlook newsgroups and you'll see lots of inquiries and responses
already covering that topic. Or do a search at Microsoft's own KB
support site at http://support.microsoft.com and do an advanced search
on "remember password" (all words) for Outlook 2002. Could be article #
290684 applies to you, or maybe one of the other 11 article matches.
