Store appointments in Calendar for longer than 6 months

Hi, one of the users I'm supporting has the problem that in Outlook
Calendar, he can't look further back than 6 months. Beyond that he can only
see his recurring items, not specific meeting and appointments. He is using
OL 2003 on W2K.
I tried Tools-->Options-->preference-->calendar options-->free busy-->make
sure time frame here is more than 6 months. Also tried
Calendar-->view-->arrange by-->curent view--. customise current view-->
filter -->clear all.
But he still can't look further back than 6 months. Any suggestions?

Examine his autoarchive settings. The symptoms you describe are what you'd
see if the calendar was being archived, since recurring events don't get
archived.
 
Thanks for your answer Brian, you're probably right. I'll check this out as
soon as possible.
 
Yes you were right. I copied his old appointments back from the archive and
everything was fine. Thanks!
