Stopping those annoying beeping sounds

Hi, how do I stop those annoying beeping sounds that alert me every time i get an error message? In my control panel, I have no audio devices, so there is theoretically nothing to turn off, yet I still have this beep every two minutes I do anything. Any suggestions?
 
If you have no sound card, the beeps must be from a BIOS alert. Check the
documentation for your mother board to see what they mean. It could be a
warning about a serious problem.
